In 2014, the United Republic of Tanzania made a minimal advancement in efforts to eliminate the worst forms of child labor. The Government, in coordination with the ILO, conducted a National Child Labor Survey and continued to support programs on the elimination of child labor. However, children in Tanzania are engaged in child labor, including in agriculture and in the worst forms of child labor, including in mining.
