In 2013, São Tomé and Príncipe made a minimal advancement in efforts to eliminate the worst forms of child labor. Government agencies developed a list of hazardous activities along with a plan of action to raise awareness on the worst forms of child labor; however the plan is still under review. Children in São Tomé and Príncipe are engaged in child labor in domestic service and street work. The Government continued to fund social programs for families with vulnerable children, but current government programs do not target all sectors in which child labor occurs. I. PREVALENCE AND SECTORAL DISTRIBUTION OF CHILD LABOR Children in São Tomé and Príncipe engage in child labor in domestic service and in street work.(1-8) Table 1 provides key indicators on children’s work and education in São Tomé and Príncipe
