Time Frequency Analysis and Wavelet Transform Tutorial Wavelet for Music Signal Analysis

Wavelet transform can be applied to many ways such as edge detection, corner detection, filter design, pattern recognition, music signal processing, economical data, temperature analysis, etc. In this tutorial, I will discuss the application of wavelet transform on the music signal processing. Music is composed of many components such as pitch, rhythm, melody, harmony, etc. In the music signal processing, we often analysis and discuss these components by using some mathematical tools. After that, we can use this information to synthesize the music or combine this information as a feature of the music and then determine whether this music is a cover song or something else.
