The Wadden Sea is one of Europe’s most important marine conservation areas and contains one of Europe’s largest marine national Parks. Each year approximately 10 million tourists and 30-40 million day-trippers visit the Wadden Sea Region comprising the Wadden Sea, the Wadden Sea islands and the adjacent mainland areas.
