In 2013, Burundi made a moderate advancement in efforts to eliminate the worst forms of child labor. The Government collected and published data on the prevalence and nature of child labor for the first time and used these data to revise the 2010–2015 National Plan of Action for the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labor to include a new list of worst forms of child labor.
