R factor = 0.050; wR factor = 0.156; data-to-parameter ratio = 21.4. In the title compound, C17H18N2O, the aromatic rings are almost normal to one another, making a dihedral angle of 89.00 (8). There is an intramolecular N—H O hydrogen bond in the molecule enclosing an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along [010].
