Abstract—We simulate a 33 % quantum efficiency, 240 aF germanium photodiode coupled directly to a silicon waveguide. The variation of geometric parameters barely degrades the performance, showing promise for future fabrication. Keywords-nanophotodetector; germanium photodetector; silicon photonics I
