Abstract: This study makes an attempt to analyze Death of a Salesman in an attempt to mirror the struggling modern characters who live in the world of postmodernism but are the slave of the preventive beliefs of modernism. This play is the story of all human beings who are in search of success, Love, Pride, and Ambition, but are oscillating between the modern and postmodern values. They find themselves disintegrated and isolated in the cruel language of postmodern and consumer world. The study tries to show the entrapped modern man who finds the postmodern language weird and its values as resisting forces against the fossilized mtanarratives
