Add to ORKGThe incidence of vascular injury in proximal humerus fracture is uncommon. Such vascular insult in a closed proximal humerus fracture is rarely reported in the literature. This is a case report of a 60 yr old female who presented after a road traffic accident and sustained closed injury to her right shoulder. Clinically and radiologically, investigations showed proximal humeral fracture with axillary artery compromise. Patient was managed with ORIF and vascular repair
