An extensive study was carried out to elucidate the distribution and occurrence of different parameters of water quality of the greater Comilla region- Comilla, Brahmanbaria and Chandpur districts’, freshwater resources of Bangladesh. To study the different physicochemical parameters, surface water samples from the Meghna, Gumti, Titas, Hoara and Dakatia Rivers and groundwater samples from almost every Upazilas were collected and analyzed.
