In the face of low power generation, proliferation of power generator leading to emission of fetal carbon monoxide and some dangerous gases, there is concern on how to effectively utilize the existing power generating capacity of the country. Researchers and public policy advocates have long known that fluorescent lighting saves energy (decrease lighting energy consumption by one-half or more for each incandescent lamp replaced) and reduces atmospheric pollution, but public acceptance of this technology has been slow to grow.
