Abstract: Problem statement: In a mobile adhoc network, there are a number of challenges for providing quality of service routing for multimedia applications and real time applications like voice transmission. The QoS parameters considered in this study are link reliability and energy consumption. Existing studies estimate the link reliability constraint between two nodes using exponentially distributed epoch lengths. The major problem in this approach is that the nodes are having memoryless property and the hazard rate is independent of time.
