This study aimed to determine the views of high school administrators concerning school guidance units. The research universe consisted of 50 high schools located in the central district of Van Province and 198 administrators serving as a principal or as an assistant principal in such schools. The research sample included all the administrators working in these schools. The “Scale for Examining the Views of High School Administrators Concerning School Guidance Units ” composed of 28 questions was used for data collection. The research results showed that parents did not participate in school guidance services adequately; school guidance units did not provide students with enough information about jobs; females had more positive views than males in regard to school guidance units; and there was no relationship between educational backgrounds and the views of school administrators concerning guidance units
