Abstract — Mobile adhoc networks are flexible networks con-sisting of nodes which are mobile and without a wired infrastruc-ture. Due to its dynamic topology, it supports upcoming group applications like spontaneous joint activities and emergency op-erations. Different multicast routing protocols have been pro-posed for ad hoc networks each having certain levels of difficul-ties for routing during mobility of nodes and band-width con-straints. Here, a simulation of a set of wireless adhoc multicast protocols is evaluated under various network scenarios.
