Studies were carried out to estimate the extent of genetic variability in some cultivated genotypes of sweet sorghum (sorghum bicolor L Moench). Thirty genotypes were evaluated in 2011 rainy season across two locations, to obtain more information on their genetic and morphological diversity. Significant mean squares were obtained for 10 traits in the individual analysis and also for the combined analysis across locations, suggesting that this sweet sorghum population was highly variable for some of the characters and as such will respond to selection.
