ABSTRACT: In this study, the cytogenetic effects of peel extracts of citrus aurantium L. (Bitter orange) and citrus medica L. (Lemon) were determined in cultured peripheral blood lymphocytes. Results showed that citrus aurantium L. (Bitter orange) and citrus medica L. (Lemon) Did not have a statistically significant effect on the micronucleus formation and mitotic index, counts indicated that Peel extracts had considerable anticlastogenic and antigenotoxic effects as observed in vitro in human lymp...
