www.ijipsr.com A simple, rapid and specific UV spectroscopic method with good sensitivity was developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of Ambroxol and Levocetirizine in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage form.In Methanol the wavelength of maximum absorption of Ambroxol and Levocetirizine were fixed as 221 and 238 nm respectively using a Shimadzu UV-Visible spectrophotometer. In this proposed method both drugs obeyed linearity within the concentration range of 4-24 mcg/ml and 4-24 mcg/ml for Ambroxol and Levocetirizine respectively. The low RSD values indicate good precision and high recovery values indicate accuracy of the proposed method.
