st floor, office no. 105 Context Multi-physics problems of an electrotechnic system deal with several subproblems of which the physical nature differs, e.g. electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical problems. Generally, depending on the importance of the internal interaction, multiphysics problems can be simulated with different strategies. A classical approach consists to solve iteratively the numerical models of the different physical problems. For example, in the case of a magneto-elastic problem, in a first step, the electromagnetic model is solved.
