Mobile phones have become part and parcel of the lives people across the globe. Moreover, there are varying uses of mobile phones across different social classes including young adults of school-going age. This study investigated the usage of mobile phones among young adults of public tertiary institutions in Ghana. A quantitative research approach was used. Accidental sampling technique was used to select 1000 participants. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect data from participants. It was found that young adults use their mobile phones more frequently for making and receiving calls, for browsing the internet, chatting on websites like Watsapp, multimedia messaging and listening to music and radio.
