ABSTRACT Need for renewable energy sources, results in growing investment for solar collectors ’ use. Evacuated tube collectors are recently most widely used device to convert solar radiation into heat. In conventional applica-tions they can provide energy for domestic hot water or space heating in combination with low water temperature systems. Several research articles have been published for representing the stratification of the fluid inside the tubes and the reservoir, as well as ana-lytical models for the heat flow problem.
