Abstract: Waste utilization from food processing industries is highly indispensable and challenging task all around the globe. Generation of this waste is inevitable because every time we have to produce the finished product of the same consistency without taking into consideration the amount of waste produced. Numerous researchers have worked on generation of phytochemicals, antioxidants, dietary fibre, food ingredients like pectin, natural colour, vitamins, antibiotics and proteases apart from ethanol or biogas from waste generated from fruits, vegetables, cereals, pulses milling, coffee processing units.
