Abstract — Safety is a priority of any industrial activity. Workers in the cement sector are exposed to many occupational hazards which may contribute to diseases and work injuries. This study was conducted among employees in a cement industry in Kerala. Occupational diseases and injuries data were collected by using questionnaires and personnel interview of the workers in different parts cement industries. A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out. 38 questions were administered to workers who consented to the study. Hundred questionnaires were fully completed and used for analysis.
