Channel equalization is one of the applications of adaptive filtering. This paper includes an efficient approach to compare the MMSE equalizers with variants of LMS algorithm for the removal of noise in the corrupted signals. The main aim of designing the transmitter and receiver having a channel in communication systems is to minimize the corruption of the input signals. Here equalized output of the model is compared for LMS algorithm, NLMS, Complex NLMS and NLMSSIGN algorithm. It has been observed the better BER vs. SNR plot considerably. 1
