In the field of signal processing and communication, digital filter plays pivotal role. Digital FIR filter designed by different window techniques perform better for reducing noise from signal. In this paper, we take an overview of various window methods such as Rectangular, Triangular, Hanning, Hamming, Blackman, Kaiser and some modified windows. The magnitude responses are demonstrated for different design methods at particular cut off frequency and different filter order. All these technique have their merits and demerits.
