and sebacoyl 1, 10 bis (4-methoxyphenylcarbamide) (SBMPC) were synthesized and structurally elucidated on the basis of elemental analy-sis, IR, 1HNMR and UV visible studies. Six chelate polymers of Cd(II) and Hg(II) with above three bis ligands have been prepared and were characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR, 1H NMR, X-RD and TGA.
