ABSTRACT The main objective of this paper is to use of Newton’s method for optimization techniques. Power flow is an electrical engineering known problem, which determines the power system operation point in the steady state. Power flow studies are used to ensure that electrical power transfer from the generator to consumer, through gird system, is stable, reliable and economic.OPF determines voltage, current and injected power throughout an electrical power system.
