Wireless mesh network (wmn) offers a flexible and cost effective network infrastructure for wireless communication. But due to wireless environment and unpredictable user mobility, it suffers from the problem of routing path selection, security, scheduling, resource allocation and congestione etc. For solving these problems, several metrics have been proposed. But using information from only one layer the metric does not perform well. So, cross layer mertics have been proposed to achieve a better performance.
