Six sigma is considered to be one of the best quality improvement methodology applied successfully to organizational areas like manufacturing, production, accounting and finance, sales and marketing, information systems, human resource management etc. Six sigma is a project driven approach that concentrates on reducing variations, defects and improving the quality of products, processes as well as services.
