Abstract- In the study, statistical methods have been used for estimating experimentally degraded power MOSFET effects on converter circuits. We simulated buck and boost converters according to Taguchi method using the stress induced changes in power MOSFET as control factors. The statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA) is adopted to evaluate the significance level of control factors on the change in converter circuit output voltage. We also discussed the operating conditions and circuit design effects on reliability of the converter circuits
