The relationship between land use and transport has been widely discussed, as there has also been the convenience of higher integration between both planning policies (see Giuliano, 1995 and Cervero and Landis, 1995). This intense debate has led to certain agreement among most authors, which constitute the basis of this paper. First of all, it is generally admitted that there is a relationship between transport and land uses that is reciprocal (Wegener, 1995) and whose causality has not been fully understood because of divergences of empirical results (Badoe and Miller, 2000;) and because the spatial correlations are not sufficient to establish an informed causality (as Chi et al, 2006 point out, we are still in a chicken-egg dilemma phase)...
