Comparison of Web Service Similarity- Assessment Methods

Due to the advent of service oriented architecture, web services have gained popularity. The need for efficient web service discovery increases because of the enormous growth of the web services. The main concern of this paper is to addresses the challenge of automated web service discovery and service similarity assessment. It utilizes the WordNet and a traditional information retrieval method, combined with structure matching to identify potentially useful services and estimating their relevance.
