Abstract—Since 2009, the Obama’s Administration carried out the new growth strategy to drag the U.S. economy out of the imbalanced and sluggish growth dilemma from the recession. For the 5-year-implementation of the measures, this paper draws the framework and summarizes the main measures applied. Further, the comprehensive assessment of the strategic effects shows that the strategy has played a positive role on accelerating the economic recovery, reducing the internal and external imbalance, expanding exports, revitalizing the substantive economy and promoting the sustainable economy development.
