A theoretical study of the fully developed mixed convection flow of a mi-cropolar fluid in a parallel plate vertical channel with an asymmetric wall tem-perature distribution has been presented. Solutions of the governing equations are obtained both analytically and numerically and it is shown that they are in excellent agreement. A reverse flow is observed in some cases and is based on the analytical solution. Criteria for the occurrence of this flow are presented
