We study the performance of slotted Aloha random ac-cess Ad-Hoc networks with multipacket reception capabil-ity. The key issue of converting the physical layer packet success to the link layer success in an Ad-Hoc environ-ment is addressed and a closed form solution is provided. Based on a nite population model, the network is char-acterized by a Markov-Chain. Throughput and delay are derived for such networks. Stability behavior is investi-gated in terms of First Exit Time (FET). Numerical re-sults are also provided to gain insights into the eect of multipacket reception on the network performance. 1
