Improving patient efficiency is a universal concern in medical centers. Patient dispatching rule is one major factor that affects the patient efficiency. The goal of this paper is to quantify the impact of patient dispatching rules on the efficiency in terms of the waiting time of the patients in a medical center. A simulation model is used to understand and measure the impact of various dispatching rules on the efficiency
