Background. Carcinoma of the cervix is the most common malignancy associated with pregnancy. In the first and second trimesters patients should receive the same treatment as is used in nonpregnant women and termination is advised. In selected cases neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) could be proposed but only a few cases have been reported. Case. A 27-year-old woman, gravida 1 para 0, at 15 weeks ’ gestation, was diagnosed with FIGO stage IB2 squamous cervical cancer. After refusing to terminate pregnan-cy, she was treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (cisplatin) starting at 18 weeks.
