This study aimed at utilizing rigid polyvinyl chloride waste (PVC) for partial replacement of natural coarse aggregate in concrete material. The percentage of PVC waste in the concrete mixture was varied from 0 % to 25 % based on volume of the natural aggregate. The effect of the percentage of PVC on slump, weight, dry density, compressive force of the concrete was investigated. The results showed that the addition of PVC waste to the concrete mixture led to decrease the compressive force of the produced concrete. The reduction in the value of compressive force did not exceed to 4.40%, 12.10%, and 17.57 % when the percentage of PVC was increased to 5%, 10 % and 20%, respectively. The effect of water quantity in the mixture was also studied ...
