The present study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a cognitive behavioral program in the development of the skill of anger management among a sample of spinsters suffering from dysthymic disorder. To achieve this goal, the researcher prepared a 16-session program. The study sample consisted of (16) females suffering from dysthymic disorder from the clients at the specialized psychiatric clinic in the city of Khan Younis, aged between ( 30-40) years, and who received low scores on a scale of anger management, and at the same time who received high scores in the level of dysthymic disorder as diagnosed by specialist doctors working in the clinic.
