Abstract- Willingness to communicate in a second language is defined as language learners ' tendency to initiate discourse in a particular context with some individuals. It is considered an important factor which could result in the development of a second language. On the other hand, socio-affective learning strategies are assumed as the tools which could alleviate the problems of language learning. This case study endeavored to scrutinize whether those who have willingness to communicate in a second language make use of socio-affective strategies.
