Abstract—Speech technology and systems in human computer interaction have witnessed stable and remarkable advancement over the last two decades. Recent research concentrates on developing systems that would be most robust against variability in environment, speaker and language, focusing mainly on automatic speech recognition systems. Arabic is the world’s fifth largest most spoken language in terms of number of speakers, still has not receive much attention from the traditional speech processing research community.
