lank @ cs.sfsu.edu This paper describes a storyboarding study on using unconstrained sketches by untrained users to control an interactive room. One interesting result which we observe is a similarity between a number of the sketches. This result argues for the possibility of designing a sketch based perceptive user interface which can interpret sketches drawn by a new, untrained user of the interactive room
