NAndtB/04- TERMS OF REFERENCE

The United Kingdom National Aerospace NDT Board (NANDTB) has a responsibility to control examinations conducted by personnel or organisations within the United Kingdom or non United Kingdom organisations that affiliate to the United Kingdom NANDTB in accordance with EASA AMC145.A.30(f)4. Under Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirement, this responsibility also extends to NDT personnel operating under EASA part 21 and includes the control of formal NDT training. In furtherance of this: 1. Will develop/evolve strategies that exert the necessary control over personnel and organisations conducting NDT training and examinations in accordance with EN4179. 2. Will develop processes and procedures that supports the strategy in compliance with EN4179. 3. Maintain an overview of a third party/parties auditing and approving organisations who conduct NDT training and examinations in accordance with EN4179. Voting Member
