ABSTRACT: Optical packet networks topic has drawn to itself wonderful concern within the last few years. A lot of efforts have been addressed to deal with all those issues derived from the use of optical packets to carry the information. In this dissertation we focused on the XOR logic gate implementation, because it is a very versatile approach for implementing many functions in optical communication networks.
