The basic objective of this pedagogical activity on magnetism studies is to expose students to a computer assisted learning environment by using various sensors and advanced tools for data acquisition and analysis. Three important studies namely magnetic field variation in different types of disk magnets, solenoid and electromagnetic induction have been done using magnetic field, motion and voltage sensors. This automation of experiments allows a student to continuously acquire and analyse the data online during experimentation leading to better conceptual understanding
