ABSTRACT: Biodiesel is one of the available alternative fuels in the market. It is derived from biomass, which is one of the sources of renewable energy. Coconut oil is one of the sources of biodiesel and of all the other sources, it would be best in tropical countries biodiesel done to help the readers become aware of this the performance, emission and combustion characteristics of diesel engine using mahua methyl esters. In the present work, mahua methyl esters and its blends with diesel were used as fuel.
