Abstract: Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) as a low price photovoltaic technology have attracted widespread attention in recent years. They have shown the impressive power conversion performance and are promising candidates for low-cost photovoltaic devices. The electrolytes typically used in these cells are usually containing iodide/triiodide redox couple in organic solvents. The aim of this work is to study the performance of DSSC experimenting with different electrolytes. DSSCs are fabricated using two electrolytes viz. potassium iodide and solution of iodide and iodine.
