Purpose:The aim of this research is to develop a conceptual framework that incorporatesa new understanding of key elements that address and realign the roles of a school as a community hub in promoting community cohesion. Findings:The final finding is a new conceptual framework for the understanding of local community perspectives on the role of the school as a community hub.This framework enhances significant values and leads to the creation of guidance to promote community cohesion and to sustain opportunities for existing and future development of schools.
