Abstract — A 7-month-old, female jindo dog was presented with severe ascites, cyanosis, and exercise intolerance. Diagnostic imaging studies revealed Ebstein’s anomaly with an atrial septal defect. The dog was managed medically with inotropics, diuretics, and vasodilators. Résumé — Anomalie d’Ebstein avec communication interauriculaire chez une chienne Jindo. Une chienne Jindo âgée de 7 mois est présentée avec une ascite sévère, une cyanose et une intolérance à l’exercice. On thoracic ausculta-tion, a grade V/VI crescendo-decrescendo holosystolic murmur accompanied by a precordial thrill was heard over the tricuspid valvular area. Occasional splitting of the 1st heart sound was also noted. Case description On the day of presentation, electrocardiographic (ECG) stud-ies showed giant P waves (0.7 mV, 0.06 s in lead II) and near isoelectric QRS complexes in leads I, aVR, and aVL, and negative QRS in leads II, III, and aVF (right axis deviation), suggesting right atrial and ventricular enlargement (Figure 1). Furthermore, an rsr’S ’ wave in leads II, III, and aVF of 80 ms duration indicated right bundle branch block.
