ABSTRACT- With the passing of time, the terrestrial mammal fauna changed considerably in France: definitive extinctions, temporary disappearances, natural reapparitions, introductions and reintroductions. 2 1 species are considered as threatened (endangered and vulnerab1e)and two have completely disappeared.
