Encouraged by the excellent performance of dendrimers as scale inhibitors and anticorrisive coatings, we reasoned that dendrimers with properly designed structures might also be used as efficient water soluble corrosion inhibitors. New kind of dendritic polyether water soluble were synthesized using pentaerythritol tetracrylate as a precursor via Michael addition reaction with diethanolamine.
